Calling all Wainwright Baggers, Van Lifers and Lazy Strollers!

Whatever the weather and whether you're a hiker who strides out bagging those Wainwrights or a 'be in the moment' hiker, we have some lovely items to keep you mindful.

First, let's chat about the weather because we're all experts with our handy apps. Be prepared is the essential piece of advice if you're camping or hiking. The weather changes quickly here in the Lake District so come prepared for four seasons in a day!

Check out our enamel mugs to keep your spirits up when the weather turns. They're light weight, easy to carry, durable and designed for the outdoors. However, I think we can all agree that they just look great and any camper van will be enhanced by these delightful enamel mugs. These mugs by Enamel Happy come in four bright colours and can be bought individually.

As a side note - if you're passing our shop while you're on holiday, perhaps you could pop in and see the matching whistling kettles They can be used on all appliances and have recently been up for a design award.

Would you like to keep warm yet stylish on your travels? Check out our collection of knitwear. Socks are never boring when designed by Scottish designer Catherine Tough using warm lambswool for those chilly days or organic cotton for lighter wear. Colourful, unique designs and different lengths, there's really nothing better than putting on a pair of comfy socks to soothe your tired feet after a long day hiking.

Our beanies and mittens by Scarlet Knitwear will keep you both warm and stylish. Made on vintage knitting machines using only the finest Scottish lambswool, they are firm favourites and great for both wild swimming and lazy strolling following wild nights...

Meanwhile the super soft merino wool scarves by TBCo are so lightweight and will pack down into your bag. Leaving you to enjoy your day and perhaps bringing them out if there's a sudden chill, or if you chose to switch up your outfit for an evening drink after a satisfying day hiking.

Souvenirs from your travels? What could be better than a print by Phoebe Roze, or one of her postcards to send back to your loved ones? Her playful images capture the freedom and joy you may feel when you're outdoors whether it's bagging those Wainwrights or just sitting and enjoying the fresh air and view.

Oh, if you're interested in recording your achievements, we now have a selection of paperback Wainwright bagging books in stock. The Peak Bagging Log Book helps you track and record your progress across 214 Lakeland peaks.

Or perhaps you enjoy keeping a journal, if so we also have a selection of mindful notebooks by Joy Jen Studio. They are exceptional quality, fully lined and nicely illustrated with Jenna's illustrations that she did while travelling around the country.

We hope you enjoy your stay in our beautiful countryside!
