Meet two designers who are influenced by landscapes.

Introducing Joy Jen Studio and a new addition to our shelves, Phoebe Roze.

Starting with Joy Jen Studio, we have been stocking Joy Jen's work for some time and our customers keep returning to buy her cards and notebooks.

Inspired by landscapes around Scotland and the Lake District, Joy Jen uses a soft palette of pastel colours to create dreamy images which have proved to be popular with our regulars and visitors to the Lake District.  Each product begins as an original hand created mixed media design, crafted with paints, pens, pencils, soft pastels and crayons.  Joy Jen Studio creates a soulful, mindul and a calming connection to the great outdoors. 

 

 

 

Confession time! We did an excited dance when we unboxed our new delivery by Phoebe Roze. Look at these playful illustrations and beautiful colours!

 

Originally from the Scottish Highlands, Phoebe now lives and works in Edinburgh. A strong sense of place and playfulness are important elements in her work, drawing heavily on the landscape, creatures and stories of where she grew up.

Grace's love affair with Scotland is reflected in Phoebe's images and she has been a fan and collector for a few years so we feel proud to be stockist of Phoebe's work. 

Phoebe's debut author-illustrated book Our Islands came out with Post Wave on the 7th of May, 2026.
